Langtang Valley Trek
Langtang trek is located 19 miles north of Kathmandu, close to the Tibet border. The valley is dominated by Langtang Lirung (7246m.), the highest peak in this area. Trek starts from Sybru Besi after 9 hours drive from Kathmandu. Crossing through ethnic Tamang villages, green forests, and upstream Bhotekosi River reached at Kyanjin valley. After an ascent of Kyangin RI, we retrace our route back down the valley to Sybru Besi and then drive back to Kathmandu.
Brief Itinerary
Day 01: Arrive Kathmandu and Overnight at Hotel 
Day 02: Halfday sightseeing tour in Kathmandu.
Day 03: Drive form Kathmandu to Sybru Besi (1460m)/ 9 hours driving
Day 04: Trek to Lama Hotel (2470m) 6-7 hours walking 
Day 05:Trek to Langtang Village (3430m) 7-8 hours walking 
Day 06: Trek to Kyanjin (3870m.) 4 and half hour walking
Day 07: Rest day in Kyanjin
Day 08: Trek back to Lama Hotel (2784m.) 7 hours walking
Day 09: Trek to Sybrubesi (1400m.) 5 hours walking
Day 10: Drive to Kathmandu
Day 12: Departure
Day 01:  Arrival 
Upon arrival meeting and assistance at the airport and transfer to hotel. Office representative collect two copies of Passport size photo and Passport copy to make the trekking permit. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at hotel.
Day 02: Sightseeing tour in Kathmandu

AM:  Sightseeing tour of Kathmandu city and Swayambhunath
Kathmandu City: Kathmandu, the capital city of Nepal, is one of the world’s oldest cities. It is also known as Kantipur. Here one can find distinctive pagoda-roofed temples, stone sculptures, and old monasteries and histories monuments. Here you will visit the temple of the Living Goddess, who acknowledges the greetings of devotees from the balcony of here temple residence Kasthamandap – the source of the name Kathmandu and supposed to be made from the timber of a single tree and Durbar Square are with its array of temples overlooked by the Hanuman Dhoka Palace, the ancient place of the former Nepalese Royalty.
Swayambhunath: Located approximately 4 km, Buddhist stupa this is said to be more than 2000 years old, making it one of the world’s oldest and most glorious Buddhist chaityas. The Chaitya (stupa) which forms the main structure is composed of a solid hemisphere of brick and earth supporting a lofty conical spire capped by pinnacle of gilt copper. Painted on the four-sided base of the spire are the all-seeing eyes of Lord Buddha. It stands on a hill which is a mosaic of small chaityas and pagoda temples.
PM: Sightseeing tour of Patan city.
Patan: 5 km away from Kathmandu city, the ancient name of Patan is Lalitpur , meaning city of beauty and fine arts. It is enclosed within 4 stupas said to be built in 3rd century AD, by Emperor Ashoka. You will see the Durbar Square, the Patan Durbar which houses a bronze collection, the Krishna Temple built by King Siddhi Narsingh Malla, Hiranya Varna Mahavihar. The citiy is believed to have been built during the reign of Vira Dev in A.D. 299. Overnight at hotel.
Day 03: Kathmandu to Syabru Besi [1400m] 
Continue 9 hour drive to Syabru Besi from Kathamndu. After driving for 30 kms, we approach pristine villages on the banks of the river Trishuli. We also get to view the delightful panorama of the Himalaya, including the Annapurnas, Manaslu, Ganesh Himal and the peaks of the Langtang region.
Day 04: Syabru Besi to Lama Hotel [2748m] 
We traverse the ridge on Syabru Besi’s main road and soon reach Ghopcha Khola. Terraced fields and dense forest with a variety of plant species like oaks, maple, alder and bamboo open up. We may get to see yellow-throated martin, wild boar, langur monkey, red panda and Himalayan black bear en route. Further on, the trail crosses a stream and a bridge. We pass by several small bhattis (tea shops). As we continue ascending steeply along the trail, we come across a steel suspension bridge at 2000 meters. The route further crosses to the north bank of the Langtang Khola amid the spectacular vistas of cascading waterfalls and opens into scrub oak forest. On reaching 2748 meters, we arrive at Lama hotel where we conclude the trek for the day.

Day 05: Trek to Langtang village [3500m] 
After breakfast, we continue the ascent above the Langtang Khola. As the trail progresses, it becomes steeper. We have the most exotic sights of Langtang Lirung lying at 7246 meter. The trail leads to a log bridge and on climbing further we come across lush meadows of Ghora Tabela at 3000m. We will see several lodges and a police check post. Further on, the route opens up into a wide valley of yak pastures and scattered Tamang villages with water-driven mills and prayer wheels. We arrive at Langtang village after crossing a stream and reaching up a height of 3500 meters. Langtang village is the headquarters for Langtang National Park and has flat-roofed Tibetan style houses, hotels and cultivated lands yielding buckwheat, potatoes, wheat, turnips, barley etc.

Day 06: Trek to Kyangjin [3800m] 
Today, the trail skirts gradually through rich yak pastures and interesting traditional villages of Muna to Singdun. We cross a wooden cantilever bridge and reach a wide valley after climbing a moraine. Finally, on ascending the mountain passes, we arrive at Kyagjin Gompa. There is a small monastery and a government-operated cheese factory.

Day 07: Rest day in Kyangjin  
We take a day off for acclimatization and a proper rest. We get to explore interesting places like the monastery, cheese factory etc. We can climb Kyangjin Ri located at 4350m from where amazing views of snow-capped mountains are spreading right next to you. We can walk up the moraine to see the spectacular mountain ridges and rising and falling glaciers.

Day 08: Trek to Lama Hotel [2784M] 
From Kyangjin, we take the route back to Lama Hotel. As we retrace our steps, we follow the Langtang Khola to Langtang village and on to Ghora Tabela. We stop briefly for lunch and thereafter continue the steep descent to Lama Hotel.

Day 09: Syabru Besi [1400m] 
From Lama Hotel, we head back to Syabru Besi. We can wander around the undulating path leading to the village. This gives us an opportunity to get an insight of the culture and custom of the Tamang community. We can also simply relax in the sun savoring the beauty of the majestic Himalayan Mountains.

Day 10: Drive to Kathmandu 
Breakfast at Local lodge in Sybrubesi we continue 9 hours drive to Kathmandu. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 11: Free day in Kathamndu
You can take optional tour 
Morning : Everest Flight , Sightseeing tour
PM: Free for shopping and souvenir. 
Day 12:  Departure 
Breakfast at hotel. Rest of the day at leisure till departure. Later transfer to airport to board the flight 
for onward journey.
